ABOUT US
Foulden Hill Genetics is a multi-generational, family-run farm based in Middlemarch, Otago, New Zealand.
At the heart of our operation is a commitment to excellence, driven by data, science, and integrity. We work with breeds including Hereford, Santa Gertrudis, Suffolk, White Suffolk, and Merino (White & Coloured), selecting animals for structure, growth, fertility, and performance.
We blend tradition with innovation, leveraging performance recording, Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs), muscle scanning, and structural assessments. This ensures our livestock are not only well-structured and fertile, but also capable of delivering consistent, profitable results year after year.
We’re proud to have gained recognition in agricultural shows, with notable achievements such as Foulden Hill Mustang being awarded both junior and senior meat and wool cups in the same year, a first in the show's history.
From ultra-fine wool Merino sheep to high-growth Hereford and Santa Gertrudis bulls, our genetics are proven to add value across a range of farming systems.
